Looking for a caring caregiver to work in the day (11am to 8pm) to cook or prepare lunch for 2 persons, help with laundry, cook or prepare low sodium meals for dinner, encourage walking indoors, arm raises and simple leg exercises. Also provide diaper change and pericare if needed. Once a week, provide help into the shower and provide assistance with soap and shampoo. Provide safety when exiting shower, help dry him and dress him. Can feed himself but he gets tired and uninterested, so need to feed him to keep up his nutrition. Has a 1L water restriction and low sodium diet (less than 1500mg sodium daily). Nail trimming (once every two weeks) Ensure proper nutrition /feeding - Lunch and dinner preparation, served and fed. Medication administration - VCH support drops in to feed medicine and provide personal care. Need monitoring of medicine routine, mainly Nitro patch removal (8pm). Health monitoring/ family liaison - Take blood pressure and oxygen saturation and email family. Meal preparation /cleanup after meals - Needs low sodium meals, but tasty and nutritional.
