Elder Care Job in Brighton, Ontario

We are seeking an experienced, kind, compassionate and trustworthy person to care for our elderly mother who is semi-mobile, on oxygen, and in good cognitive health, with no dimentia. She is alert and can feed herself but requires assistance in the following areas: - Bathing, grooming, dressing - Transfers to and from bed, wheelchair, toilet, shower chair, recliner - Toileting - Administering medication (blister packs) - Attending doctors appointments - Monitor oxygen levels with pulse oximeter - Various light housekeeping duties including meal prep, cooking, laundry, cleaning You must have a friendly, positive attitude, good communication skills and proof of Covid vaccinations. Having a valid driver’s licence is an asset. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time Monday to Friday with hours to be discussed. Working weekends is optional. You will be provided with free room and board (locked private room) in a lovely detached home and semi-monthly salary to be negotiated and paid in cash.
