Elder Care Job in Listowel, Ontario

Helping with a cute happy lady enjoy her remaining years with dementia. Required 4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with a possible Sat from time to time. At this time, most days are 7hrs a day. Maybe a little longer in the summer by an hour or two Changing clothes, bathing, light exercise mostly walking. Light housework , mainly her bedroom. Some snow removal maybe but I got a battery operated Ego snow thrower, ha never used yet. Hopefully it’s easy. Big snow storms don’t fear, chances I’ll be snowed in too. So if driving in winter is difficult for you, no pressure. Easy meal (mostly lunches). She struggles to get to the washroom at times, forgets she’s wearing button up paints. She is super sweet and loves her sweets ;). Someone who likes to do simple yard work or wants to do a vegetable garden. She loves kids and watching them play. We’re looking for someone who makes her feel like she part of their family Looking for someone who will be gentle with her. I m looking for someone with some flexibility around my schedule. Must like or can tolerate cats, she obsessed with hers. Also can tolerate loud noises or tv. You will get most of your stat holiday off and we can discuss well in advance too. My busy season is March up to Christmas. Sooo Christmas time is a guaranteed off. Since she will be with me. I’m looking for someone to start asap.
