We have a good care-plan developed over the past ten years or so and we expect that care-aids will respect our well tested procedures. Sanitary Catheter bag changes daily. Dad lives a t Long Lake Chateau and Caregivers must meet that Standards Atria Living has set out. Dad is a wonderful client who does what is told, for the most part and still transfers himself just fine. We had a great deal of difficulty with VIHA care-aids abusing my Dad after we got the Alexa Show, screaming in his room knocking it off the desk trying to break it, treating Dad like a criminal by having intimating care-aids (Big Guys) rearing like a criminal, I can go on and on, now we need rational beings who have dignity and are worthy of reverence and respect. Not that hard for compassionate people, ya know? Wages are negotiable.. We have DVA coverage, though we pay privately. Dad is still in independent living.
