Elder Care Job in Yorba Linda, California

I need a senior care provider with experience and local to YL starting immediately or no later than June 16th for my 86 yr old Mom who lives alone. Our care concerns are: Assist with bathing, Dressing, Medication Management, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands / Shopping, Transportation. My mom has 1 companion cat so you must be ok with a cat. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing and bowel & bladder care. She is incontinent and uses a potty chair at nighttime for urine only to minimize her falling when walking to the bathroom. Seeking someone to handle light meal preparation, either by heating a TV dinner or making a nourishing light dinner and a sandwich for the following days lunch. My mom has arthritis throughout her body and walks with a walker but very minimally, most of her time is spent in a lift chair which helps her get up. She has extremely bad arthritic knees and very little mobility in shoulders, elbows and hands, She struggles with most ADL's. Looking for a caring, patient, friendly and compassionate person. We'll need you to handle her grocery shopping or errands as needed. My Mom has approved hours through IHSS so if you are willing to get approved to be a caregiver through in home support services of Orange County we will pay to get you fingerprinted. We would prefer a split shift if local to YL, 2 hrs in am and 2 in p. m. or 3-4 hrs straight in the late afternoon daily. 2:30-5:30 or 3-6 but flexible as long as daily items can be done. Looking for someone close to YL.
