Hello, my family and I are seeking a caregiver for our older relative. We are looking for someone that can provide a 1-hour visit for bathroom help. We are located in the West Kendall area. We are trying to find someone that can come later at night like at 11pm or midnight. And we are also trying to find someone that can come early in the morning like at 5 am or 6 am. It can be the same person, or two different aides. By scheduling a late night and an early morning visit, she won't go so many hours without getting cleaned. We're trying to avoid hiring a night nurse for a long work shift, since she only needs bathroom help. She is in her early 70s and has limited mobility but is getting stronger. She can now use a walker. Most of the time, she could be changed on the bed. But sometimes she might need a bed bath. Or she might want help with a nighttime or morning shower. She's a very nice lady who needs someone that is gentle and caring. We live in a well lit, safe neighborhood. You would be parking directly in front of the house (there's no long walk). People are walking their dogs at 12 midnight. And others are leaving for work at 5am. So its not desolate at all. Early in the week, people tend to be more respectful with the noise. But from Thursday to Sunday nights, it's actually pretty lively around midnight in this area.
