Elder Care Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

My Dad has recently had a bit of a health decline after years of treatment for throat cancer and now a pinched nerve that is leading to accelerated atrophy in his leg. Our family is seeking someone to help look after our Dad who has recently found himself bound to a walker and a wheelchair. His wife is currently the primary caregiver, but it is a lot for her to handle. They need someone to be able to help them. The ideal candidate would be willing to travel with them on a few trips per year, such as to Palm Springs, USA, or on a train trip across Canada, etc, as my Dad would like to do a bit of travel in his final years. Job would include cleaning, cooking, accompanying outside the home, and on potential travel, in addition to personal care with bathing, moving in and out of wheelchair, etc. Must be a good cook. Nurse experience would be ideal. Ideally you live close to the west-side of Vancouver, and have your own vehicle.
