Elder Care Job in Alexandria, Louisiana

My mother lives in Alexandria, Louisiana. She is 85 years old and recently had heart valve surgery and is doing really well. She has onset dementia, very shortterm memory. We are looking for an experienced elder care provider. The duties involve providing care and companionship and handling the medication timely. She is in excellent health except for the onset dementia but can still carry on a conversation and is relatively active i.e. walking and loves to sit outside and "tap her foot" as she says:) The ideal candidate must be experienced and knowledgeable about administering medication and providing emotional and physical support. This is a full-time position paying $10.00 to $15.00 HOURLY. We have one sitter but need to be able to alternate days worked. 40 hours can be provided.
