She is bright, friendly and outgoing. She laughs a lot, makes friends easy and wants to know and learn about everything. She swims and dreams of running, jumping and playing hockey. She thinks the world is a wonderful place to do so many exciting things in. She is a girl with Cerebral Palsy. She talks (slowly) with the aid of a computer, but that does not mean she thinks slowly or does not understand; she walks (slowly) with the aid of a walker, but that does not mean she does not want to run; she moves (slowly) with the aid of a scooter or a wheelchair, but that does not mean she cannot get where she is going; and she needs help to learn and experience things that the rest of us take for granted. She needs a helper; someone to be there when her body refuses her wishes; Services And Training: Help with social support, personal care, and support with physical only disabilities. Ideally, you are willing to travel on short trip to programs and city outings. Our top applicant would have previous experience however it is not crucial to be hired.
