Elder Care Job in Carlsbad, California

I am looking for an experienced, family oriented and patient caregiver/companion to help care for my 85 y/o mother. Support is needed periodically on an as needed basis. Similar to a babysitter as I am frequently required to attend local events away from home. Great opportunity for someone looking to pick up hours. My mother has early stage Dementia and requires assistance with meal preparation, hygiene, bathing, dressing and assistance with ambulation. My mother gets very lonely and really needs companionship to listen to her many stories, watch classic old movies, play cards and bingo. Hours vary, occasional week-ends.
