Elder Care Job in Airdrie, Alberta

I need someone who is willing to work 3 shifts on weekends. Two mornings and one evening. The hours are approximately Saturday am 8:00-11:..., Saturday pm 8:30-10:..., Sunday am 8:00-11:.... This person would need to help a quadriplegic with showers, dressing and grooming. I have a pressure sore that needs new dressings in the mornings only. Night duties include bowel care. Experience with handling a catheter and cleaning it would be helpful. Some nursing training would be helpful but not necessary. A course in caregiving or experience would be needed. I would like to begin the interview process by email. Duties would include knowing how to use a power lift, dressing, bathing, preparing medications, bowel care. I would also like this person to be open to doing some light housework such as dusting and bathroom cleaning. I have a pressure sore that requires dressing. My full time caregiver would be available to train. Someone living in Airdrie is preferable but Calgary is also fine if they’re willing to drive. The wage offer is $20/hour to start.
