Elder Care Job in Los Angeles, California

Job starts first weekend in January 2017. Elder Care Advocate and Medical Case Manager seeks a relief caregiver for a 78 year old female. There is another caregiver who works 4 days per week - Tuesday 6 AM - Saturday 6 AM. Seeking a caregiver for other 3 days, to cover Saturday 6 AM- Tuesday 6 AM. This job is requires caregiver to work 72 hours per week. Patient lives in Century City CA and has a complex medical profile. Relief caregiver is retiring after 8 years with this family. Patient attends dialysis and must be safely transported on Saturday morning. Excellent driving record with appropriate insurance. Background check and references required. Fluency in English is manadatory. Must be able to give medication, assist with bathing, take vital signs and report results, manage oxygen, transit wheelchair, and portable concentrator when patient is in transit. Must be a good cook, prepare healthy meals, adhere to dietary restrictions and handle light housekeeping duties. Family has a small dog and will require caregiver to walk dog. No agencies please!
