Elder Care Job in Langley, British Columbia

This a a part time, live out, long term position. My father had a stroke this past summer. He now has to use a wheelchair and walker. He can eat on his own but is unable to fully speak. He is mentally sound and understands what is going on around him. I\'m looking for a caregiver who will help care for my father\'s day to day needs including but not limited to bathing, dressing, bathroom needs, helping him to transfer from room to room. He, along with my mother and sister reside in the house. The caregiver will also need to do housekeeping: dishes, meal preparations, run errands and generally help out around the house. My father will be coming home from the hospital mid December 2013 (in a few weeks) so the care is required very soon. Caregiver required for my 80 year old father who had a stroke this pass summer. He can eat on his own. He uses a wheelchair and walker. Although his hearing and understanding are still fine He is unable to fully speak.
