Elder Care in Irwin, Pennsylvania

Hello, I used to work at a personal care home also a nursing home. I got the patients up in the morning washed them, fed them breakfast, got them dressed usually grooming, clean out catheter bags, measured it. changed diapers,fed them lunch put them down for a nap. I f I had time I would sit with them and just talk to them. Some times they just wanted some one to talk to them, at one job I had after patients where in bed I would wash their clothes and put them away. I loved watching the elderly they used to tell me so many stories. I watched this one man .he cried help me I went in he told me to get his horses and put them in the barn, I told him he could rest that I put the horses in the barn he thank you and went to bed. I used to get gifts for taking good care of their loved ones. They are so full of wisdom you can learn so much from them. Thank You for taking your time in reading this. Mary Jane
