Elder Care in Carthage, Mississippi

Hey my name is Jazie. I'm an elder care provider who is hard working and look forward to helping your family. I am 37 years old. I am a mother of four, three still living at home, and the grandmother of 2 amazing precious baby girls. I retired from my career as a massage therapist due to rapid symptoms of MS and degenerative disc disease. After it was confirmed I had both, I was awarded disability. I know this may sound like I'm the one that needs the care, but I assure you I have been taking care of my body since my diagnosis and I am able to perform simple task jobs. I have been helping my mother care for my 82 yr old stepfather for 13 years. He is now being cared for in a private facility. I love to be around the elderly and new babies. I find them so precious, amazing and wise. Babies have always been drawn to me. I think it's because I love Jesus so much. I also travel and sing gospel music at gospel concerts and the elderly people I have cared for have all loved for me to sing old gospel hymns for them and the babies have always responded to my singing. I graduated second in my class in massage therapy school. I know everything about the human body and how to make it better, with exception to terminally ill people. Even then, massage therapy, even done on an elderly person's hands make them feel so much better and helps to develope a wonderful personal relationship between the therapist and patient. I pray someone out there will allow me to come work for them. I only receive $514 a month in SSI and that's not even enough to pay rent. I lost everything waiting for my disability decision. In three years I lost my home, car, furniture, everything I own...including my children waiting for it and now that I have it they aren't even giving me enough to survive. I am currently living with family and have to find a home immediately so I can get my children back. That is another reason for applying for these jobs. So that me and my children can survive and not end up homeless. I love this work and it's the first thing I thought of when I was sitting here thinking about what I could possibly do to earn extra money. I hope to meet some of you in the near future.
