Hi, my name is Vicki. I love working with seniors and look forward to caring for your loved ones. Let's be honest. You want someone who will love your parents and care for them as you would. I took care of my Mom for 10 years before her death in 2015. I miss her. And I pray that I can find someone whom I can care for like I cared for her. We did everything together. My caregiver strengths are cooking, light housekeeping, game play, personal hygiene, conversation, companionship and most of all love. My only requirement for your loved one is that the family will visit often. It's so important for your parent to see you and visit with you for their mental well being. Family outings as well, if possible, are also a positive means of maintaining a heathy family relationship and gives me downtime when I'm not needed in these pursuits. I have 3 grandchildren and would like them to be able to visit. One 3 day weekend off every 3 weeks. And a 1 week paid vacation every year. Times to be determined at a later date. I currently live in Lawrenceburg Indiana, and will maintain my apartment, unless a more permanent long term relationship develops. I hope to become part of your family and you become part of mine. I am flexible and can adjust to change. I work well with other support systems set in place like Nursing staff, OT, P T, and have organized appointment making abilities. I am aware of all things that pertain to managing a healthy, and happy environment for your loved one. I am a smoker. And I will respect the client as well as the family and go outdoors for that. I am a Christian, and my Faith is important. I will serve the Lord by serving your loved one. I prefer taking care of Mom's rather than Dad's. And I hope that you will consider me when making a decision about whom to choose.
