I am more than happy to come into your loved ones home an lives and help make all ends meet so you have no worries while your away from your loved one weather it be work, errands or a simple outing I will be there weather its scheduled days an hours or on call and need last minute care.I have been working with the elderly for 3 Plus years now, I absolutely love making someone else feel the joys of life an bring Them happiness, Laughter and smiles even though they are needing assistance With everyday needs, I understand how one must be feeling when one day they are needing assistance from another with daily routines they once were once completely independent with, I always keep how they may be feeling An the fustration they may have in mind always try to make the individule i am caring for feel as if they still have independence. I will never do something without Permission or voicing what is going to take place Before it is done. If one has difficultys with decision making or has a mental condition i will still explain what is going to take place and take apon myself what the safest action would be. If i feel family needs to be notified or present for any reason i will not hesitate to contact family if absolutly needed. ones safety is always number 1. I worked in a assisted living for 3 years caring for the elderly with their everyday needs. I also prepared and administered medications and also have been trained on an have administered insulin shots, cbg monitoring, b12 shots ect. I have been a medication aid, a caregiver and also part of a management team.After 3 years in the same community I made a very hard decision an decided I wanted to move along and be a in home care provider. Working in a community I came to realize that time was always a issue trying to not just be their care provider but to actually have conversation, give them a chance to vent if needed, or just sit and laugh an make their life just that much better, i always found myself having to politliy cut them short because I was needed or had to continue with job duties i did not like having to cut our time short or inturrupt a converstation so i decided i wanted to provide in home care An be able to spend that specific time with one individuale an not having to cut time short. I not only am a care provider I always consider clients as family and love them and care for them as if they were one of my parents. I Do not have any scheduling requirements and am also avaliable weekends. I will work 6am to 11pm. If you are wanting a on call provider i am more than happy to do that As well.I am open minded on rate of pay an how often. I have a valid drivers license an Have own reliable transportation. I am CPR/ first aid certified with valid proof.
