Elder Care in Bangor, Maine

Who I Am: I am 61 and single and my plan is to move to the Portland maine area. I am seeking. a job on premises helping with your parent or parents. I am currently a physical therapy aide and HAVE been since 1981 at EMMC bangor, Me. In physical therapy on the rehab floor as well as past experience on the inpatient floors. My present hours are 4- 9 hour shifts. I am nearing retirement at EMMC but need to keep working and i want to work anyway.. i would prefer 32 hours a week, which would allow me to also be able to paint more than i do now. Services And Training: I along with my brother and sisters cared for our parents during their end of life. I prefer only elder care.. My friends and family say i should be working solely with the elderly as my main job.. CPR certified, I did have my CNA certificate years ago..but let it expire. Again, My time is spent working full time weekdays, still as a PT Aide. My desire to live in Portland ME area has always been strong, but i stayed here loving my job in bangor, being near my family and later years to be near my parents during their aging process. .i am very quiet, non smoker woman who wants to live in or near portland.
