I very much enjoy caring for adults who have health or other every day needs and support. I believe in being compassionate, loving and supportive. I am very patient, and people can relate well to my positive energies. I put people and their welfare above all other concerns. I am responsible, helpful, and straightforward. I have cared for an elderly person of 75 - 80 who had diabetes, high blood pressure, a stroke and mild dementia, off and on for four years. I cared for a family member, who kidney failure (on dialysis), was previously an alcoholic and drug user, over a 12 year period. As far as duties, I did assist with daily grooming, cooking nutritious and delicious meals and and snacks, light housekeeping, and give medications as directed by the physicians. I have done many other duties, too numerous to list here. I had a very positive experience helping these clients, and they certainly benefited from my care and love.
