I treat persons with disability like normal people, I am aware/sensitive to their particular needs and I try to remember that even people with the same disability can have a very diverse set of needs. Patience is definitely a requirement, because it sucks for disabled people to feel like they\\\'re a burden on other people, for things they can\\\'t control.I am never condescend or do things like falling into baby-talk, I never assume I know what\\\'s best for them, and I expect that even seemingly trivial requests/needs have a good reason and need to be met. I have worked with disable persons for over ten years. I know that it take patients and self awareness to work with them and at times it could very trying but I love what I do because it is to me very rewarding to help others.
