Elder Care in LaSalle, Ontario

I started my first career working as a nurses assistant in a home for the aged. During this time I found that I had a wonderful rapport with the elderly as well as persons with disabilities. I continued to work as a recreational coordinator at a home for the aged while attending college. I continued to work as a life skills counsellor working with people with a variety of disabilities. I advanced my career by working as and educational assistant, again working with people with disabilities. I have a degree in Psych and Education and I continue to provide care for families who require respite. I provide a wide selection of care to clients while allowing family members some respite time. I have past years experience working with the aged, persons with disabilities and medically fragile. I have my respite certificate as well as a diploma in social service worker and degree in teaching and psychology. I have a love for working with seniors and love their joyful spirits.
