I retired at the end of 2007 after a very enjoyable 17 year career with a health insurance company and worked from home as an independent contractor from 2008-200.... I am currently employed as a care giver/companion on a part time basis which allows me to work with a dedicated, professional team and provide companionship and comfort to senior citizens. Unfortunately, the hours available to me are very limited, therefore, I am seeking another position either in addition to or in place of my current position. In my previous positions, I have proven that I am, reliable, enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing, have a very positive attitude, and am self-motivated and eager to learn. In addition. I am a mature, caring, compassionate person, who is observant, patient, and can easily make that important connection with seniors. My availability is flexible, including evenings and weekends. Light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning kitchen & bathroom,vaccuming,washing floors) Errands (shopping, banking) Transportation to and from medical appoints (family doctor, hospital & lab for tests) Preparing meals Companionship (talking, watching TV, playing cards,accompany seniors on outings) Medication monitoring
