Elder Care in Edmonton, Alberta

I really love this line of work. My preference was in the day program because I felt like I was making a dfference in someones life so I would love to work with someone who has personal goals or with goals set by the guardian like basic math or some simple signs to better communicate. I am currently working on my ASL but I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m nowhere near fluent, yet. I am currently employed by a non-profit in Edmonton. I have my med admin. and I regularly plan and execute outings. I have been punched and acted according to my CPI training to calm the client and diffuse the situation. I work with people ranging from non-verbal autism to clients with well managed schitzophrenia. I have a lot of experience with CP including lifts and transfers.
