My kids finish high school then I decided to do something I like. I started volunteering at the Nathan Adelson Hospice for one year. I enjoyed working with the elderly. I have been working with in home clients and I have also worked in a facility. When people can stay at home with help it is a blessing. I loved the people I cared for and still in touch with some. I have been a caregiver for one year. I have worked in memory care and took care of people with some form of dementia. I also worked with people that have Parkinson's and Cancer. I finish and 80 hour course that has enabled me to do my job well. Center for Quality Eldercare Services. What is important to me is the person in my care.
