I have experience with both. I use to volunteer at a seniors home for 2 years and sometimes I go and sit with am elderly lady just for company. (references available)
my aunt has Williams syndrome. I absolutely adore her. we have a great family and she is very well loved. I also have a cousin with Down syndrome.
