I have worked in the health care field for 7 years. I have done many private care attendant jobs in the past as well as worked in a long term care facility. I have nursing training as well as CPR, first aid and police check. I have a wide variety of experiences and am always willing to learn more. I am a kind- hearted woman who enjoys taking care of individuals based on their own unique needs. Nanny Responsibilities: Attending to the needs of their six young children. Addressing health care needs of two young children with Cystic Fibrosis. Duties include administering medication/ treatment, household chores, and attending to emotional, physical and intellectual needs of each child. Personal Care Assistant Responsibilities: Provided personal care to residents in a long-term care facility. Duties included were transferring, peri-care, hygiene, and emotional support. Personal Support Worker Responsibilities: Providing person care for a quadriplegic gentleman who sustained a spinal cord injury. Duties included mechanical lift transferring, intermittent catheterization, physiotherapy and hygiene. Personal Support Worker Responsibilities: Duties included were providing care to a woman with a spinal cord injury (SCI) and one who had Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Intermittent and In-dwelling catheter care, wound care, transferring, hygiene, hydrotherapy and accompanying on traveling.
