I have 18 yrs experience but am still young enough to make your loved one smile while providing the best quality of care! Looking forward to hearing from you to discuss my experience in further detail! I have worked in the field of geriatric nursing care both community & long term care facilities for the past 18 years. I am a graduate of Social Service Worker/Gerontolgy, a 2 yr program @....lawrence College, Graduate of the PSW program & studied Practical Nursing for 2 yrs @....lawrence College as well until maternity leave. I am currently employed part time with Fairmount Home (long term care) working weekends & evenings for over 5 years. I have experience with Quadrepeligic care, colostomy care, urinary catheters, dementia/Alzhiemers, mechanical tranfers, prosthetics, medications & glucose monitoring, wound care, sterile dressings & much more.
