Elder Care in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

I enjoyed my time at the group home very much, it was a great opportunity to help other people that couldn't necessarily help themselves, and to encourage them to be as independent as possible. I worked in a group home for adult males with disabilities. I was responsible for every aspect of their personal care as 4 out of 5 of the residents were wheel chair bound and non-verbal. I was also responsible for light housekeeping and a little bit of meal prep. I was also a nursing student at a seniors care home where I was able to meet with seniors and talk with them to learn more about their lives and provide care for them.
