I can help your adult/ Senior Citizen and take some pressure off of you. I am a graduate degreed social worker looking for part-time hours assisting adults/seniors in their home, in residential facilities, transportation or by running errands for them. I can work overnights and weekend overnights. At this time I am unable to provide daytime care due to caring for my chronically ill son. I can perform personal care such as grooming, toileting, bathing and lots of other services. I have attended culinary school in SC (cooking is NO PROBLEM) and can do light housekeeping/laundry. I have approximately 20 years plus experience working with Senior Citizens, not to mention all the family care giving experience like my great grandmother, grandmother, father and mother. I have extensive Memory Impairment experience (personal and professional) and training. I am kind, patient, a great listener and I know and love lots of older music like The Andrew Sisters. Yes I can sing too. Does your Senior Citizen love old movies and TV? Well guess what I love them too. I am drug free and non-smoker. I am responsible and have my own reliable insured transportation. I am strong (physically, mentally and spiritually) and more than willing to assist a senior no matter what the issue. I am not squeamish or shy. Oh I forgot to mention - some people want to know why I want to do this rather than what I was doing... Well doing the job I had been doing is not that fulfilling not to mention the jobs are few and far between. Also I have a son that I want to be able to spend as much time with as possible with and those jobs do not allow for that working 50 plus hours a week. I really am a person who wants to help people.
