Elder Care in Brampton, Ontario

I am motivated, vibrant and has a great personality. Persons that I have administered care to have always said that you came into this profession for many good reasons. I prioritize well and am a fast and critical thinker and I do like challenges. Whosoever employ me would not have anything to even be concern about, I possess a clean criminal record never been involved with the court or police and is very competent and go above and beyond the call of my duties. I have five years and 10 months experience as a Registered Nurse, this entails working in one of the biggest hospital in Jamaica- The University Hospital of the West Indies administering care to ages 12-100 in the area of dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, Ear, Nose and Throat, Medical and Surgical Nursing. I have done a course called Gerontology or Elderly Care and I have had the chance to visit approximately 3 nursing homes in the Island of Jamaica to administer care to Elderly residents as a Student Nurse. I have had the opportunity to involve in family care of ailing relatives including my granddad and my cousin. In 2011, a cousin (she was like my aunt) became very ill with breast cancer and an orthopedic problem, hence, she became bedridden. I resigned my full time job to administer care to her. Care was holistic in nature- bathing, grooming, laundry, cleaning the house and taking her to the hospital or primary care physician. Years prior to that when I was twelve years another cousin of mine was also in our home and she had met in a motor vehicle accident and became dependent for about two years. At that time I was about 14 years and I would play a vital role in her care. In the Hotel Industry where I having worked for approximately three years, I have been the main medical emergency response personnel. I must admit that I have had to save several lives with my skills.
