Elder Care in Leduc, Alberta

I am Janice and I am from the Philippnes. I give ao much respect with our elders. It is because of them that we have are now who we are. I miss my mom and my dad so much in the Philippines and I would love to take care of someone who would be like my parents here in Canada. My parents taught to always treat my elders with compassion, love and respect because seniors are very sensitive with their feelings. I love hearing their stories during their younger years and love seeing the glow in their eyes whenever they remember people, places and events in their past. I love seeing elder people who has a positive outlook in their lives no matter situation they are in. I had my caregiver course in the Philippines which includes Geriatric care where they taught us how to give proper bath for seniors who are bed ridden. i had my on the job training at St. Raphael Hospital in the Philippines as a completion for the course. I also took care of my bestfriend's mom when she had stroke. I helped her in taking care of her. Giving her bath, helping her to walk to have a little exercise.
