Elder Care in Leesburg, Florida

I have been involved in the elderly caregiving my whole life, it starting when i volunteered at a elderly assisted living home at 15. I was basically a companion during this time. Playing games, visiting and talking. But, later it became more for me. My husband's grandmother became ill, and I became her stay in caregiver. I took classes to make sure that I knew how to clean, feed , dress, lift, roll, and generally make sure I knew how to keep her comfortable until she passed on. I enjoy the company and companionship just as much as the client. My willingness as to what I will do is up to the client, if they need something done then we will figure out a way to make sure that those needs are met. My duty's with my present client range from getting her to and from her doc appts. I do her grocery shopping, her pick-up and drop-of off of her medications and personal things from the pharmacy. I also do her laundry, light housekeeping, trash removal, mail checking, and prep work for her meals. As well as anything else that comes up that she may need from week to week. She is more than happy to write a letter of phone call of recommendation upon request.
