Elder Care in Newmarket, Ontario

I am a loving 18 year old girl who is looking to find some comfort and peace in caring for the elderly. I have decided to give back to the world as much as possible and i feel as though a senior care position would be both rewarding and positive for me. I have cared for my grandparents for years now, and since my grandfather has past, am interested in creating another strong bond with someone who i can share my overwhelming about of care and love with. Throughout my teenage years i have had to provide extensive care for my grandparents. My grandfather had been very ill with prostate cancer and could not move out of bed to do anything by himself, this made the work load very rough on my tiny and fragile grandmother, so i was required to do most of the work. Preparing meals, changing his clothes, helping him to the bathroom, and taking care of the housework he was unable to perform. He sadly passed away recently and since then i have been in charge of taking care of my grandmother and her condo, in which i clean once a week. Having my grandfather pass has made me miss providing extensive care to someone who desperately needs it.
