I am a Licensed Practical Nurse of over 2 years and I am looking forward to meeting you and your family and start helping full-fill your care needs today. I have worked with a variety of full and partial care adults, young adults and elderly clients in a home environment. I am a clean, quiet, professional, and caring nurse with strong communication skills who loves her job and who loves giving people the ability to live their lives in their own home in a way that works for their individual needs. I have had loved ones who have been in need of special care so I understand how important it is to find a perfect fit for your family. I am highly adaptable and personable and think you would enjoy working with me as much as I will enjoy working with you and your loved ones. I have over 2 years experience working with a variety of adults and elderly clients in a home environment as a Licensed Practical Nurse. My duties have included but are not limited to both full and partial assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, eating, teeth brushing, toileting) and transfers both walking/standing as well as using assistance devices (canes, chairs, lifts, etc). I also help with keeping clients active by keeping them on an engaging routine that allows for balanced rest and social time. I cook and do light house work as needed. Some examples of the types of clients I've cared for are dementia and Alzheimer's, ALS, MS, broken bones, post surgery, cancer, severe arthritis, wheelchair bound, epilepsy, and of life, and tracheotomy. As well as I've spent some time working with clients who have mental health disorders.
