I am a caring and professional individual. I treat clients with respect and see them as playing a vital role in their care. I provide exceptional levels of care and also take time to get to know my clients personally by addressing their needs and wishes. I have been working with seniors throughout the completion of my nursing degree. I work in home care and have experience with bathing assistance, diabetes management, some dementia, mobility assistance, wound care management and catheterization. I also have experience in public health such as breastfeeding assistance, newborn care, assessment of newborn and mother postpartum and teaching re. jaundice, weight gain, developmental milestones, etc. I also have knowledge/education regarding allergies and anaphylaxis intervention {ie. epi-pen} I have experience administering Intramuscular injections {immunizations, gravol, vitamin B12}
