Elder Care in Hollywood, Florida

I have worked in two nursing homes, and my Aunt owned one while I was growing up in Bennington, VT, so I am familiar with the elderly and their needs. One of our patients whom I personally assisted in the Home was Mr. Carl Ruggles, an early-20th century composer--The Sun Treader. I lived in Asia--Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines for 10 years and have a high respect for the way they treat their older citizens, especially their family members. I am a personal fitness trainer, chess coach, amateur astronomer, tropical fish aficionado, and scrabble player. I speak Thai, a little Spanish, Hungarian and Tagalog. I play piano a little and love to watch movies. I have owned my Video Production company for 30 years and majored in nursing and film/theater in college. I have a bachelors degree in Communications. I have never drank nor smoked nor did any drigs (including ) in my life. I am in excellent health. I've worked at a summer camp for kids in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Wisconsin for the past 25 years both as a video producer for their marketing and as a staff/counselor coaching different sports. I raised five children of my own, and I am also a veteran. I am interested in doing part-time work as a caretaker/companion for someone in need. I am currently available and have flexible hours.
