Elder Care in Ajax, Ontario

I am 20 years old and have always had a passion for assisting the elderly. Starting in September, I will be resuming school to become an occupational therapist directed to seniors and kids. My main goal is to keep them active and healthy. (Of course to the best of their own ability. ) My main hobbies consist of going to the gym, and helping some elderly friends of my grandmother. My grandmother recently passed due to cancer but throughout her battle I was by her side as much as I could. Even today, I do regular outings with her friends and keep them occupied. Knowing I can make a positive impact on someone\'s life is what gives me satisfaction to continue on building my career path. I promise this is not just another box filled with words, your loved ones will be in the best hands with me, guarantee. :) I recently lost my grandmother to a long hard battle with cancer. During her fight I assisted her to the best of my ability with day to day tasks. These tasks included driving her to doctors appointments, taking her out for walks, keeping her occupied by playing cards and crosswords, doing her laundry, prepping meals, and light house keeping. Still to this day I help her close friends with the same duties.
