Elder Care in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Hi my name is Linda, I have been a care giver for the elderly, and special needs adult/children, on/off for 35 yrs. I've taught, hands on special needs, life skills, a wide range from cleaning, budgeting skills, laundry, personal care, public/home safety, everything they would need to take care of their own needs, I Love doing it, I enjoy the joy they feel, when they accomplish the task at hand. I've also taken care of a wide range of elderly, with differant level of disabilities, I've sat by their beds, holding their hands, helping to ease their fears as they left this world,also those that had no one else, I made them feel loved. I've assisted with helping them in/out of shower, male/female, the only problem I have now is taking care of those who are completly immobile, because of a back situation. I do light house cleaning, I'm a good cook, laundry, shop, assist with any bills, I kept a log of all bills/receipts to show how money is being spent, for both theirs/my protection. I believe that all elderly no matter what their circumstances are, should be treated with love and respect. I was taught to treet others, the way I'd like to be treated, with Love, Compassion, Understanding, Honesty. To never take away their self respect, or make them feel us less because of their age.
