Elder Care in Sarasota, Florida

A room offered to an elderly or disabled person. One person only, this is not a group home. We (my wife and I) had a lady with multiple sclerosis living with us for two years and we were both caregivers to her for three years prior to her moving in with us. She passed away and we really enjoyed having her at our home. We still miss her dearly. We would like to have another either elderly or disabled person to take care of. We enjoy having a peaceful, family like environment. Happy to offer care at your or your relative's home as well. Available all hours of the day and night. Very flexible with scheduling. Willing to work many hours. At our home, I would be the primary caregiver with my wife helping on evening and weekends. This includes transfers, grocery shopping, food preparation, trips to doctors appointments, etc. At your or your relative's home it would be myself. Our home is located in a nice Sarasota neighborhood. Local references available. Pay rate may be determined depending on the needs of the person.
