I am a health care aide with 15 years of home health care experience. I am a joyful, positive, dependable and hardworking person who loves being with those who need my help. I am very attentive to my client’s needs and I strive always to have a loving attitude towards my clients. Many past clients and their families have told me that I bring an uplifting spirit into their homes or retirement communities which helps my client’s health issues, especially during stressful times. I have many skills. I am flexible and am able to adapt to the needs of my clients. My skills include administering bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance. I can assist with grooming, bathing, feeding and administrating medication. Additionally, I can do housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, or running errands. I am skilled at caring for individuals or families during periods of client incapacitation, client convalescence and family disruption. I provide companionship, personal care, and help in adjusting to new lifestyles. I also prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition.
