Nice to meet you! My name is Keyana, I’ve been in the field for 5 years now. My first “real” job was working in an assisted living facility which held 27 beds & was an all male facility. I worked as a personal care assistant as well as a certified medication aide. I did that for 4 years. I have been trained in mental health first aide as well as CPR, MANDT, dementia care, diabetes, wound care & DSP. I currently work full time at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. I have 4 month old daughter so I’m looking for something part time so I can put money away for college! I absolutely love geriatric care; I find it challenging in the best way possible, there is just something speca about someone who has lived a whole lifetime. I LOVE stories about the past. I’m hoping we can meet so I may further my experience!
