Hope to hear from you soon :) Dolly I have been working with elderly for 13 years, within that period of time I have an ample experience with any type of dementia. I took care of clients who are suffering from Alzhiemers, Parkinsons, Body Lewy Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Multiple Stroke Dementia. In addition, I also took care of patients who has Diabetes both type1 and type2, Stroke patient, Cardiac problems, post-operative, fractured patient, cognitively impaired patient and more. Some of my responsibilities are; assisting client with grooming, bathing, feeding, meal prep, accompanying to doctor's appointment, light housekeeping, transferring, mobility, passive and active exercises. I motivates my clients to stay active and to promote their independence. I have an excellent assessment skills which is very important in giving appropriate and quality care to every client. I also tries to stimulate my clients mind by encouraging him/her to do some games or activities of his/her interest. Above all, I do respect my client choice and preferences as long as it is for his/her own good. I take care of my client as a total well-being which involves physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I have a nursing background and worked as a nurse in the Philippines. Right now I am a part time nursing student at George Brown College.
