Elder Care in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi: My name is Sheila McRoberts and I am interested in assisting you in providing care for your loved one. For two years I lived with and took care of my elderly mother who suffers from Alzheimer\'s disease. I also was the primary contact and took care of an elderly bachelor uncle when he was in level 1 care and was moved to level 4. I took him to all medical appointments, shopping, dental appointments, banking, etc. Since May of 2009, I have been working as a live-in caregiver for two children now ages 5 and 2 1/2. Previous relocating to Alberta in May of 2009, I worked for the Saskatchewan Department of Justice and the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly. I am a quiet, thoughtful person whose main passion is reading. For two years I took care of my elderly mother who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Regretfully it became necessary to move her out of her home to a seniors' complex. I also took care of an elderly uncle when he was in level 1 care and then moved to level 4.
