Hi, My name is Lisa Hiller. I have always enjoyed taking care of people and making them comfortable - any people or person. I like to be able to get to know someone and be able to spend time talking to them. I like responsibility and I took care of my father when he was on a lot of medication and had bladder cancer. I feel I could be an excellent nurse but I like to be able to spend the time with people and do the little things that count for them! I have experience working with adults who have dementia - Alzheimer disease in private homes and in facilities with secure floors. I have had to use my imagination to encourage personal care and eating habits and have experienced verbal and physical violence as a side effect of this scary disease. I have worked with seniors and elderly people and visited them since I was young because my Mother always emphasized visiting people who were alone in their homes or in facilities. My grandmother was looked after by family in her home until her death in her 99th year. She had a sit to stand machine.
