Hi, Good day! Im 28 years old. I have a deep knowledge of care giving assistant practices with formal training. I am very patient person and love to help people specially elderly. I am also a responsible person,trustworthy, honest, happy, have a positive attitude,and caring. Hope you will choose me as your care aide. I will do my best to meet your expectations. Thank you so much... I dont really have a lot of experience working with the elderly. I do have a deep knowledge on how to take good care of them. When I am still in the Philippines I studied a Caregiver Course. We had a practicum and we had to handle the elderly that involved different cases. I worked also in the Hospital for 3 months as a volunteer. I worked here in BC under the live-in caregiver program and I took care 3 children. While working I decided to continue what i really loved to do and so I took a 6 month course (LONG TERM CARE AIDE). This course helped me a lot as it increased my knowledge on how to become a successful Care Aide. In our practicum we had to perform the actual job a care giver would preform. Examples: in the morning I would help them wake up and guide those that can still help themselves and for those that could not, I gave them a bath, or a half bath, changed their pads, dress them, ask them to brush their teeth, and get ready for breakfast. My Mother in law also suffers from dementia, and my husband and I always visit her at her care facility where she lives now, so it helps me add to my knowledge of how to deal with people that are suffering from dementia.
