Hi families, I really enjoy working with and taking care of our older generation. I have a deep and genuine respect for my elders and I learn so much from them. I understand each individual is different as well as their needs. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and working together as a team to provide the best care for your loved one. I have worked with seniors in nursing home settings as well as 1 on 1 in the comfort of their own homes. I prefer working 1 on 1 to provide the best optimal care as opposed to fast paced, rushed setting, therefore, the person feels like they have a hand in their care too, and I can give them as much Independence as they require. Regarding personal care, I have experience in bathin, grooming, dressing (as well as supportive stockings), shaving electric, mouth care, palliative care, respite, assisting with medication, cathedar care, range of motion exercises. I have worked with diabetics, dementia/alzheimers, disabled patients with limited range of motion. And can perform lighthouse work and meal preparation and transportation. I have my first aid and CPR.
