Hi Families! I take great pride in this line of work, I feel it is a reward all on it's own! I have had a passion for helping people for as long as I can remember! I started this work while volunteering in high-school as well as a co-op class! I landed a great position running a youth after school program & from there I knew that I was meant to work with people. My young age & years of experience brings energy, spunk & some great idea's to the table. I only hope to help you & your family as much as I've been able to help others! "I will make a difference, in one way or another" I have worked respite care for over 2 years! My first job was with a 56 year old autistic woman, whom I lived with Friday-Monday. Currently I assist in caring for a young adult with down syndrome. I have been with this family for just shy of a year but due to programming I am looking for another client. I have experience in following a specific diet as well as distributing medication. Besides my work experience, I also volunteered with an adult assisted living facility!
