Hello, my name is Hermie an experienced caregiver/senior companionship interested in providing my services to you. Over two years experience assisting families and their loved ones during phases of dementia and the many stages of human aging. I am passionate about assisting and comforting the elderly during the different stages of their life. As a person who has entered the early stages of retirement, I understand how companionship is crucial in enhancing the well-being of an individual. My duties extended to companionship, administering medication, some light housekeeping, personal care (including bathing, grooming, changing incontinence undergarments), some cooking, and changing soiled linens. I provided assistance and care to two clients, one of whom dealt with dementia while the other had undergone a heart operation. I maintain a positive outlook, a continuous learning attitude, a supportive heart, and enriching motivation to help in making each life challenge more comfortable for them.
