Elder Care in Brooklin, Ontario

Hello Families! I am a 24 year old female and Wilfrid Laurier University graduate looking for full-time work with your families and loved ones. I have worked with children as a live-out nanny for many families through the duration in university and have also had the priveledge of working with children with special needs. More recently, I have been hired with Community Living Oshawa/Clarington as a part time weekend disability support worker (working every other weekend; saturday and sunday) where I have remained for over a year. I am a very energetic, up-beat and optimistic individual, I am used to working in fast-paced environments and enjoy staying busy and active. I have a lot of energy for childcare but prefer working with the elderly and special needs, or both if that is what is required! I am looking to move to Toronto in the summer and am hoping to obtain full time employment for the beginning of April or May for the long-term but would also consider commuting for a few months if your family requires immediate employment. All of my First Aid, CPR, Criminal Record check, TB tests, Abuse and Awareness and many other certifications are well-maintained and up to date as my current employer provides all the testing for their employees yearly. Some of my duties are as follows: I assist in changing, clothing, bathing, feeding, administering meds, personal care, doctor's appointments, hobbies, transportation and finances.
