Hello, My name is Linda and I have been in the personal support field for over four years in a group home setting. Helping and caring for individuals has always been a strong passion of mine and I love what I do. I am a graduate of the Educational Assistant - Special Needs Support program and my program provided me with a variety of placement experiences. Through these placements, I found a position that was a great fit for me and was able to start my career as a Support Worker. I am caring, friendly, reliable, flexible and open minded which are all great assets in this line of work. I currently work in a group home where I assist individuals with the following: - Provide personal care such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, etc. - Prepare meals following Canada's Food Guide - Administer medications - Accompanying clients to doctor appointments when needed - Organizing daily outings/activities within the community
